Post-Wordcamp Brain Dump
Cool stuff:
Swagger from wordnik looks pretty cool. “Swagger is a specification and complete framework implementation for describing, producing, consuming, and visualizing RESTful web services”
Code Poet has books, interviews, resources for those involved with wordpress.
wp-cli is a wordpress command line interface and I’m totally geeking out on this.
brewerydb has an api. sweet.
Best client from hell story: group of doctors who wanted to do a hypnosis porn site.
Not so cool:
ajax calls with w3tc don’t cache. boo. hiss.
Wordcamp Seattle 2012
I am attending wordcamp seattle and geeking out a bit on technology. I did manage to pick the brains of a few people (nomnomnom) about global horizontal scaling. No big surprises so far. Wpengine.com did hook me up with this site, so I’m firing off a post and will likely move over my domain website to this at least for a bit. We’ll see how it goes and if I am not too lazy to actually update it down the road.
